ABOUT EBBA
Ebba started her musical journey already as a young girl in Sweden. Following years of playing the trumpet, she started singing in choirs and cover bands.
In 2020, Ebba started singing jazz and finally found a style that touched her heart and soul.

2020 – now
Beyond Vocals – Emilia Mårtensson
Since 2020, Ebba has taken lessons and workshops for Emilia Mårtensson, a renowned jazz vocalist and singing teacher currently based in Berlin.
For three consecutive years, Ebba has been part of a curated group of singers attending the Beyond Vocals Jazz Summer Course in Izola, Slovenia. A week-long course filled with masterclasses, workshops and jam sessions with professional musicians.
In 2025, Ebba and Emilia embarked on a deep dive journey with a more tailored coaching to further progress in repertoire, bandleading skills and artistic identity.
2024 – 2025
Atelier AMR: Early Decades of Jazz
Ebba took part of the themed workshop "Early Decades of Jazz" at AMR in Geneva, lead by bassist Manu Hagmann. In this group of 8 musicians, she sang tunes from the 20's and 30's and explored those early days of jazz and its roots.

2022 – 2024
Atelier MCM: Jazz
For two years, Ebba sang in a jazz group in Meyrin, lead by bassist Ivan de Luca. The group consisted of a drummer, a bassist, a pianist and a guitarist. Here she honed her band leading skills and started to explore different improvisational concepts.
